In the event that you would like a lovely, hot treat this fall/winter, you could go to Starbucks and pick up a salted caramel hot chocolate. I really, really love them. In fact, after we went to the grocery store tonight, we stopped at Starbucks and Mr. Vox and I each got one. (JV opted for a Horizon Organic vanilla-flavored milk and a raspberry truffle cake pop.)
I ended up having a couple of time-sensitive chores that I needed to do, and my tasty drink sat cooling on the kitchen counter. But then it hit me! I could take this salted caramel hot chocolate:
…and mix it with this whipped cream vodka I have sitting atop my refrigerator:
In summary, the only thing that makes a salted caramel hot chocolate taste better is the addition of booze. I highly recommend it. Just get back home before you start sipping. Don’t drink and drive, kids!
